Dark web is full of websites and forms and services that anyone can use but it's hidden under layers of protection. Dark web is the paradise for illegal online activity and it goes very deep. It's a home of criminals, drugs, spies, human traffickers and whistle blowers.

1.Surface Web

Surface web often called as visible web or index web is a normal way of surfing the internet like you, me do on regular basis, we normally spend time on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google anything well that's the surface web that we all use it.

Huge Numbers? but its just 4% of the internet yes! only 4% of the internet. rest of it is 96% of deep web and remain 2% is dark net.

2.Deep Web 

You can find anything on surface web any kind of information, index data from google, yahoo, yandex etc. but have you ever wondered that you can,t find anyone's bank a/c, persons emails, FB profile, twitter account even though its on web, its because its under password-protected sites where they can access them and this is called as "deep web" deep web is also known as invisible web whoes web pages are not indexed by any search engines. 

Scientist Michael K. Bergman is credited with coining the term deep web in 2001 as a search-indexing term. Bergman cited a January 1996 article saying that,

"it would be a site that's possibly reasonably designed, but they didn't bother to register it with any of the search engines. So, no one can find them! You're hidden.I call that the invisible Web."

Technically if you can't find it on google it's on the deep web, if you login to your FB you have browsed the the deep web technically. Deep web is a massive part of the internet, deep web contain 96% of everything there on web. Deep sites include company intranets and governmental websites (i.e. the website of the US govt.) where you can search for special topics or forms. it's also include the academic data like univercity records, online library access.

 3.Dark Web

Dark web, that's why you are here to learn more about dark web, so not wasting more time let's dive into it. guys if you Browse the surface web chances are government agency are spying on you(not every time) but internet giant tracked you and you use your personal data for advertisement or something which i also don't know. 

This isn't anything new FB, Amazon, and most social media sites are guilty of this. they sell your data to advertiser around the world and you also agree to it on those terms and conditions. dark web means allowing users and website operators to remain anonymous or untraceable. so you have a question in your mind who created this dark web?

This is developed by the US Government the moto was simple they wanted a system that could protect their communication online so in 1990's they begin working on something called onion routing aka TOR. it protect any data sent wrapping it in multiple layers of encryption where innermost layer contain the original message.
